Fall is in the air, and soon the Holiday's will be with us. To me that means lots of  family and friends for dinner. So when I was contacted by blogspark to host a giveaway for Pillsbury Mini Grand frozen biscuits I jumped at the chance. Now don't get me wrong, I love to cook, but I no longer want to spend the entire day in the kitchen and miss out on the fun of visiting with family and friends.  Now I look for those wonderful short cuts, and Pillsbury is one of my helpers in that department.   Biscuits are a big part of the Holiday meals and they take to long to make from scratch. I am so glad that Pillsbury came to the rescue with their products. I do use the biscuits in the dairy section, but now you can find them in the freezer section as well.  To me this is a great idea as most times I am cooking for my husband and myself and we only need two or four biscuits.  I go to the freezer and pull out what I need and the others are waiting for the next time I need just a few.  Chicken Pot Pie is one of my favorite dishes, make a chicken stew, put into a casserole dish and top with biscuits.  Hubby likes Sausage and gravy on biscuits, so I just pull out what I need. I do use the biscuits in a lot of my recipes but one of our favorites is just hot from the oven with a little butter and jam, I like honey on mine instead of jam.
